This is designed to prepare aquatic professional to effictively help keep patrons, staff and facilities safe. This 3.5-hour course is completely online and includes video lessons, scenario-based activites and a final exam.

The 10-hour OSHA outreach courses provide basic awareness training on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of workplace hazards.

Both the ServSafe Food Handler and Food Protection Manager courses & certifications are available online. Study on your own time and take the certification exam online.

Learn to assess situations and how to protect yourself. This two-day course covers awareness of threatening situations and effective escape and self-defense techniques

Ensure that employees understand and comply with regulations set forth in the Americans with Disabilities Act regarding guests with service animals. Participants will learn the differences between service animals, emotional support animals, therapy animals and others, as well as what they can legally ask the guest to determine the validity of a service animal. The course will also cover disabilities, relevant parts of the ADA and hotel policies regarding pets and other animals.

This nationally recognized program prepares front-of -house staff to safely handle difficult situations in your operation.

The Food Handler certification is a 3-hour course that covers basic food safety such as personal hygiene, time and temperature abuse, cross contamination, cleaning and sanitizing, and more.

This certification also satisfies the state requirement that one trained person be present in any food service opearation at any given time.

This in-depth online ServSafe® course is designed for food handlers and managers in the food and hospitality industries. The course will highlight the many benefits that safe food handling offers for facilities and their guests. This course leads to a National Restaurant Association's ServSafe® certification.

Description
The First Aid/CPR/AED Online course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children,and infants. The course features award-winning simulation learning an interactive experience where you will respond to real-world emergencies in a virtual setting. This course meets OSHA requirements for workplace certification.

Starting April 14, 2021, we will offer this class every two weeks both in person and online. You can join us at the HARIETT office or you can log in and participate remotely from your computer or tablet.

For those participating online, you will receive a provisional certification until we can meet in person for your exam.
